We are the only ABA providers in Southeast Wisconsin started by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and who is also the parent of someone on the autism spectrum!
In addition, Advancing Abilities is based in the philosophical perspective of neurodiversity, and that value infuses our practice. This means that we look at where the person's interests and capacities are and work from there to support and grow success!
No. At Advancing Abilities of Wisconsin, we work with individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as those with other disabilities and differences, including those without a formal diagnosis. Our expertise in creating positive, supportive experiences for children, adolescents and adults are perfect for anyone who wants to achieve in school, work on daily living skills, language acquisition, work performance, family life, wellness, and a host of other areas.
Advancing Abilities of Wisconsin works with the individual where they are, and helps them to identify and achieve their goals, even if they don't know what those are right now. Advancing Abilities provides services to individuals on the autism spectrum, those with Downs Syndrome, learning disabilities, bi-polar disorder, Alzheimer’s, and other developmental disabilities, mental illnesses, and traumatic brain injury. We work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, providing meaningful services across the lifespan.
We also work with schools, group homes, and residential facilities, colleges and universities, first responders and the medical community, businesses, and other organizations to design system-level solutions, trainings and workshops.
Advancing Abilities will accept a variety of funding sources, and will work with families to make our services compatible with the requirements of your insurer or program whenever possible.
